CowParade Las Vegas kicked of Wednesday, October 16, 2002 with a party at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Association.

Unveiled at the party were some one-of-a-kind bovines you could only find in Las Vegas, including the Moogicians of the Century, Siegfried & Roy, Wayne Mooowton, the Las Vegas Icon cow, which has built into it an exact neon replica of the famous "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign, and Bovina, the Las Vegas Showcow.

The cows have begun to mooove out, beginning with four cows at the Four Seasons Hotel, the host hotel of CowParade Las Vegas and nine (soon to be 12) cows sponsored by the Howard Hughes Corporation on Town Center Road in Summerlin. Two cows are at the Museum Company Store in the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace.

Cows are beginning to graze the Strip and within Desert Passage now. We will be adding even more as the weeks go on.

CowParade Las Vegas will run through January 2003. Live and internet auctions will be held at the conclusion of the event with proceeds benefiting the Andre Agassi Foundation and other local charities.
